This year is our 21st anniversary (26th May 1990)
& we want to celebrate this with:
a handfasting and renewal of wedding vows
on Saturday the twenty-eighth of May, two thousand and eleven.
The proceedings will begin at three hours after the noon.
Feasting and merriment will follow.
Keri was not impressed with our first honeymoon, camping in the lake district, to say it was wet, would not truly conjure up the experience.
We arrived to a full campsite, on a heavily undulating & bolder ridden campsite, really nice.
There was a clear pitch in the the centre of the campsite, like a billiard board, I quickly grabbed it, Keri was not convinced, why was no one else camping there, I assured her as the rugged outdoor type I am, that this because some had just vacated the best pitch on the site, & we needed to grab it quick.
We had a lovely nights sleep, listening to the rain on the outside of the tent, so relaxing, when we woke, we found our air bed floating in 2" of water, all our clothes off the side of the mattress & the duvet slowly wicking up the water, the rain had not subsided, we were rather damp & providing the entertainment for the campsite.....
I did offer to take her to a luxury hotel in Banff or somewhere similar, but she wants me to take her motorcaravaning up the Western isles of Scotland, sounds good to me, so we will be heading off up North on Sunday, hopefully without midges & the Scottish summer rain....
Can't wait.

Bell Tents up, wood for the fire arrived
Woops the strong winds caused a bit of damage!
Got the night lights set up..... looking promising
Thought me might need uplights for the parachute, but the fairy lights are rocking....
Those garden latterns are quite impressive
Ordered in some LED tent pegs & florecent guy-lines
otherwise we are all going to be falling over all night!

Quite a few people are camping over.
We've paid the witch doctors at the Met Office & they have garantted us a warm dry night on supply of a ritual chicken ;-)
Feel free to join us, sounds like a good idea.
